Beetles
Beetles are a common pest in Pennsylvania. There are many types of beetles, some that do great good for your surroundings and some that do great harm. Powder post beetles lay their larva in very small holes in wood. As the larva grow, they eat the wood and tunnel through. This can take as long as two to five years!
